The event is aimed at bringing European industry and Big Science facilities together to explore commercial possibilities. Purchasing and innovation needs of Big Science organisations will be matched with the skills and expertise of companies in the Big Science sector.
Danish Technological Institute
The two days at the Danish Technological Institute in Taastrup, DK will offer opportunities for participating companies to present their profiles and for networking through informal and 1-to-1 meetings.
A series of talks and lab visits will focus on new materials technologies. Big Science research organisations will present their needs at three thematic workshops, where participating companies will also be able to pitch their competencies.
ESS and MAX IV in Lund
The event concludes with a full-day excursion to the Big Science facilities ESS and MAX IV in Lund.
Grant EUR 550 for participants attending full three-day programme
NBSID23 is arranged under the BIGINN ClusterXchange programme, and participants may receive a grant of EUR 550 to cover travel and other participation expenses. Eligible participants, typically SMEs or research facilities, must attend the full three-day programme from Tuesday until Thursday.
