Sweden@FAIR

Sweden@FAIR is offering selected Swedish high-tech suppliers a unique opportunity to make important business contacts at FAIR. The participants will learn more about the procurement procedure and upcoming business opportunities.

The Business Trip is also aimed at mapping out future strategic collaboration between ESS and FAIR. Discussions will explore how Swedish suppliers can strengthen their technical contributions to FAIR and build an ecosystem for suppliers to ESS and FAIR.

In addition to making strategic contacts at FAIR, it will be a great opportunity to build relationships and discuss collaborations with other participating companies. The trip will include a joint dinner.

Participation will give you:

the opportunity to meet procurement officers and technical experts
information about upcoming procurements
individual meetings with relevant people at FAIR
a joint dinner for the Swedish group together with FAIR representatives.

The programme is still being prepared, but will include:

Project status and upcoming challenges at FAIR and ESS
FAIR/CERN Steering Committee – examples of successful collaboration
Swedish engagement in FAIR

FAIR is currently looking for new suppliers because of the cancellation of contracts with Russia. One example is new procurements in the field of cryotechnology. Check the FAIR website regularly to monitor upcoming opportunities.
