Big Science Sweden welcomes a new colleague

In September, Big Science Sweden welcomes a new colleague, Amelie Hallin, who is taking up the position of Event Manager. “I’m so looking forward to working in this inspiring environment,” says Amelie, who will be based in Lund.

I enjoy the role of being the spider in the web, and am looking forward to working in this inspiring environment at the intersection between academia, industry, and research facilities.

Who is Amelie Hallin?

I have a degree in Behavioural Science from Lund University, and have held various positions in the academic field, including two years at the Venture Lab at Lund University. That was an interesting post, where my role was to inspire the 45,000 students at the university to see entrepreneurship as an alternative career option.

My most recent position was with the City of Helsingborg, where I was project manager and event coordinator for parts of H22 City Expo, a large international trade fair with a focus on innovation.

I’ve started to get to know my new colleagues, who are spread all over the country, and it will be exciting to meet our member companies and other representatives from the Big Science community with whom we collaborate.
