Eight Swedish companies pitched their offers to Assystem
Patrik Olsson described what AQ Elautomatik could offer in terms of skills and expertise.
Assystem and the participating Swedish companies appreciated being able to meet in person, enabling them to share information, make contacts, and arrange follow-up meetings. Several companies came to the event in Lund, taking their place at the discussion table, and others joined the meeting digitally.
Wanted: Expertise in electronics, mechanical components, and engineer development
“We need partners!” was the introductory message from Bernard Blanc of Assystem.
– The company has worked for many years towards the Big Science market, managing projects for a number of research organisations, including ESS and ITER.
Assystem is constantly on the lookout for specialists and subcontractors who can be partners in upcoming procurements. They are looking for expertise in areas such as electronics, mechanical components, and engineer development.
Big Science Sweden is very pleased that we can resume physical meetings and, as in this case, bring together Swedish high-tech companies with a large system operator to facilitate collaboration and new business.
Anna Hall, Programme Director, was very satisfied with the event. “We’ve arranged many successful digital events in the past two years, but it’s especially rewarding to meet in person and build personal relationships. There was a great atmosphere around the table. Many Big Science procurements and contracts involve putting together consortia, which requires building confidence in partners and working in collaboration.”
Participating Swedish companies:
- RFR Solutions
- Teledyne SP Devices
- DVel
- Carlsson & Möller
- Berdiz Consulting
- AQ Elautomatik
- Habia Cable
- MCT Brattberg.
Anna Hall, Big Science Sweden, was delighted with the event, where representatives from French system integrator Assystem made initial contacts with possible Swedish suppliers.
