Important logistic challenges discussed at RI.Logistica Conference 2024 at ESS

The RI.Logistica Conference 2024, hosted at the European Spallation Source (ESS) ERIC in Lund, Sweden, on December 5–6, focused on discussing industrially proven logistical strat-egies for research facilities.

The conference featured a dynamic agenda, including keynote speeches, working group presentations, and discussions on key topics such as environmental sustainability, customs regulations, and risk management in logistics.

Highlights included insights from prominent leaders such as Helmut Schober, Director General of ESS; Jan Lundin, the newly appointed CEO of RI.Logistica; and industry experts from 4PL Central Station and Marsh Sweden.
