Incoil Induktion to service and upgrade mobile induction heaters at CERN

Incoil Induktion manufactures and repairs induction equipment. For many years, the company has been developing its own induction machines, currently with a range of up to 86kVA and at <50KHz.

The new order, to be completed at the end of the year, involves servicing and upgrading two mobile induction heaters currently in operation at CERN. Induction heat is used to remove old magnets before new ones are fitted.

Mikael Lindgren, CEO of Incoil Induktion, is optimistic that this first order can lead to more contracts in the future.

“We were first contacted by CERN about this project a few years ago. They asked if we could come up with a solution, so we conducted tests that proved successful, in terms of both time and quality. We’re aware that processes can be rather long when working with CERN, but we’re looking forward to fulfilling this order and winning more in the future.”

Congratulations to our new member company, Incoil Induktion, on winning its first order from CERN.
