Paul Häyhänen strengthens industrial perspective in Big Science Sweden team

Paul Häyhänen will also be Sweden’s Industrial Liaison Officer (ILO) for SKA, the gigantic international project currently building the world’s most advanced radio telescope in South Africa and Australia.

He brings experience from the telecom, space, defence, and medical technology sectors, where his roles have included vice president, head of R&D departments, and project manager. Paul is also chair of the Advisory Council for the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience, and has held positions on boards of various research centres and private companies.

“I’m looking forward to helping strengthen collaboration between Swedish actors and the research organisations, and also to promoting Swedish industry, enabling our companies to win more contracts.”
