Qualisys strengthens its role in Big Science through membership in Big Science Sweden

Qualisys, a high-tech company based in Gothenburg, has recently joined Big Science Sweden to expand its collaboration with major international research facilities. With over 35 years of experience, the company develops 3D optical motion capture tracking systems used in fields such as life sciences, engineering, and entertainment.

Qualisys offers a wide range of engineering solutions to provide high-precision ground-truth positional data for the development of robotics, drones, and autonomous vehicles.

Key advantages of the Qualisys system include specialised camera packaging, such as MRI-safe enclosures that prevent interference, weatherproof housings for outdoor use (IP67), underwater enclosures, and the ability to measure large volumes with high accuracy.

Qualisys technology is used by universities and research institutions worldwide, including CERN, Fraunhofer, and the Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre.
