Sweden among seven countries to host Europe’s first AI factories

Sweden is one of seven countries selected to host the first European AI Factories, part of the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU). The other countries are Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, and Spain.

MIMER 

Sweden is taking a major step forward in artificial intelligence with the launch of The Swedish AI Factory - MIMER, which will serve as a national platform for AI research and innovation. The new platform will provide advanced computing capacity and expertise for researchers and companies across Sweden, creating opportunities for AI applications and fostering international collaborations.

NAISS

MIMER will be managed by the National Academic Infrastructure of Supercomputing (NAISS) at Linköping University, in collaboration with RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden).
