Sweden among seven countries to host Europe’s first AI factories

MIMER
Sweden is taking a major step forward in artificial intelligence with the launch of The Swedish AI Factory - MIMER, which will serve as a national platform for AI research and innovation. The new platform will provide advanced computing capacity and expertise for researchers and companies across Sweden, creating opportunities for AI applications and fostering international collaborations.
NAISS
MIMER will be managed by the National Academic Infrastructure of Supercomputing (NAISS) at Linköping University, in collaboration with RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden).
Opportunities for Sweden
Mattias Vesterlund, Research Programme Manager at the ICE Data Center (RISE) facility in Luleå, as well as Business Developer at Big Science Sweden, comments:
