Heat load investigations on diffractive optics: fabrication of ”zone plate” nanostructures on diamond substrate, simulations of heat transport, design of cooling systems, and heat load tests with beam
Project description
The heat load on X-ray optics is very high at Free Eelectron Lasers. The purpose of this Project was to develop X-ray optics with effective heat transport and design of cooling systems.
